Privacy Policy

SmartBill Review is an Ontario-based independent consumer service. We collect only the information needed to assess a customer’s telecommunications services and provide requested recommendations.
Information we may collect
When you request a review, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, provider name, plan details, service usage, monthly charges, contract or device information, and copies or images of relevant bill pages.
Information you should remove
Before sending a bill, cover or remove account numbers, payment-card or banking information, passwords, government identification numbers, and any unrelated personal information. SmartBill Review does not require your provider password, payment information, or direct account access for an initial assessment.
How we use your information
Information is used to review your current services and charges, identify possible savings or service improvements, communicate recommendations, answer your questions, and provide any additional assistance you request.
Sharing and selling information
SmartBill Review does not sell customer information. Information is not disclosed to a telecom provider or another third party unless you request or authorize that assistance, it is necessary to operate the communication service used to receive your request, or disclosure is required by law.
Storage and retention
Reasonable measures are used to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to complete the review, provide requested follow-up support, maintain necessary business records, or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information SmartBill Review has about you, correct it, withdraw consent for optional uses, or request deletion where retention is not legally required. You may also choose to provide a written summary of your bill instead of sending the bill itself.
External services
This website and email communications rely on service providers that may process limited technical or message information to deliver those services. Links to external websites, including Facebook and telecom providers, are governed by their own privacy practices.
